Nassau was named Top Family Destination in Air Canada Vacations' 2026 Travellers' Top Picks Awards, following a Canadian vote of more than 1.3 million votes across 10 categories. Canadian stopover arrivals to The Bahamas rose 13.8% year over year through August.

Why it matters:Consumer-voted recognition and double-digit Canadian arrival growth point to rising demand from a key source market, relevant to resort, airline and tourism stakeholders targeting family travel. (Positive development)
