International Boat Show and Bahamian Marinas
The Ministry of Tourism attended the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show to rekindle boaters' interest, as The Bahamas is seen as expensive. Participation in the 2025 Bahamas Yacht Charter Show fell 40%, and this year's show was not held.
Why it matters:Marina operators and yachting businesses face weak demand tied to perceived high costs, and the Ministry's outreach is an attempt to restore boater traffic and marina revenue. (Neutral development)
