Advocacy group challenges MSC’s GB terminal impacts

Grand Bahama group PPEDR filed a formal objection with DEPP to MSC Cruises' proposed Billy Cay terminal, submitting 160 questions on jobs, site contamination, sampling data and flood resilience, and asking that environmental clearance be withheld pending further review.

Why it matters:The objection could delay or add conditions to environmental clearance for a major cruise terminal in Grand Bahama, raising regulatory and timing uncertainty for the developer and related investment. (Negative development)
